The Heart is Always Bigger in Black History Month

    I so enjoy the black churches. Their sermons, celebrating, songs are great and joyful. The Bible tells us to be joyful unto our Lord and they sure are.

    My grandmother's church, Mount Olive Baptist Church at Marshall, TX used to sing, "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah Pilgrim Through This Barren Land". I'm proud to say that I had the privilege of leading it at our last Family reunion. It is the only one I know. I was telling A. that I thought that there might be some more, but I wasn't sure. Thank you so much for that information. I have it in me and will take up the banner too to continue to spread it and revive it.
