My COMMENT on Biden Basically Saying African Americans All Think Alike

In an interview with NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro that aired during the virtual convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Joe “You Ain’t Black if You Don’t Like the Taste of Your Own Feet as Much as I Do” Biden was asked a question about the extension of temporary protected status to Venezuelans and whether the deportations of Cubans will be halted as well. Biden started off well enough, saying that the TPS program is something that he will “move on the first day that I’m in office and make sure that we extend it to people.”

And then, out of nowhere, this shit happened...

“And by the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things,” Biden said.

*takes deep breath*

NIGGA, What???

First of all: Why the fuck is Black people’s name in his mouth in the first place? We weren’t even part of the conversation. This man threw us under a bus that wasn’t even driving down our street.

Secondly: Bitch, fuck you!

Third: I don’t care if Black people overwhelmingly voted Democrat in every election in the history of ever-dom. That isn’t a reflection of our collective attitudes towards any and all subjects. I promise we don’t have big Black people meetings where we collectively decide what we’re for and against. It just so happens that Black people share a lived experience that has us overwhelmingly believing that racism is alive and well in America. And Republicans—who never seem to pass on an opportunity to express that they don’t believe systemic racism is an actual thing—have done a piss-poor job for the last several decades of appealing to us. None of that means that we lack “incredibly different attitudes about different things.”

Time and Place Folks~ In actuality Biden’s consciousness is formed out of Another Time, and that along with his diminishing mental clarity is why what he says is very often completely Out of Place. We generally relate to Biden by his past, what he has done and relationships he has had with the African American community and politicians In the Past.

He is poorly equipped to lead in the world of today. He will govern with policies based on assessments, that will like the Obama presidency, leave significant areas of the status quo in tact. Why? Because he can’t imagine better. He’s not equipped, nor supported by advisors capable of coming up with something progressive, entirely fresh, and a new way of pursuing the American Experiment. If Obama did nothing for the HUNDREDS OF ISSUES We care about, what mountains do you think Joe is gonna move on our behalf? I mean, in his mind ‘we all think alike’.....

We, Democratic thinking folks should have gone with Bernie. He’s ALWAYS been progressive and open to new ideas. At least we’d have a chance to live in a global perspective of the 21st century, which is not what we will experience in the next four years, be it Trump or Biden in the White House.

Like Spike said long ago, Wake up people! Like Bob said, “Free yourself from Mental Slavery”. I say we need to expand how we see ourselves, USE OUR IMAGINATION and move beyond a self image of just being workers caught and bound to the American plantation of unfulfilled potential, criminal incarceration, victims in a ridiculous debt system and social ostracism.

Consider scouting the planet for new places and faces to love and let our our gifts breathe. Where on this awesome planet can we be our True Selves....where can we thrive and flourish?

As always...
Lovu, and your feedback is appreciated.
