Who says we're an 'odd couple'?!?!?
This is the photo that launched my Nature At It's Best File. With eyes and countenance that say's "Don't bother us, we're fine. We're buddies", this pair opened my eyes to the wonderous examples Nature offers us, as ways we could be in the world.
Presented as it's dinner the snake refused to eat the hamster. Instead they chose to play and sleep upon each other, and share their space in harmony. It's so obvious that they enjoy each other's company.
Borrowing from the message of an early U.S. flag, that displayed a coiled snake, I call this photo, "Don't *tread on us. We're just buddies".

Though I'm leaving you with a photo of an icy climate, if you can't feel the warmth of that Bear-Dog Embrace/Hug...Something is wrong with you! It's Spring Beloveds~ Give in to the season. Let your natural affection open like a bud to the sunlight, and allow someone, or something to embrace you completely and fully. And then Dear Ones...with your very Soul, hug it back .

*My dictionary has several definitions for the word 'tread'. Using #5 (in my Webster's), and replacing 'on' with the word 'with' gives a more precise feeling for my meaning.
Thanks to my Brother Mose for the inspiration of this blog, by sharing the photo of Conan. Sam has also offered to share ideas for future blogs.
